Skincare basics

Skincare basics lets face it we have all been taught the basics about washing your face and taking daily showers. But have you ever thought about the type of soap, cream or lotion that your using and how in my be affecting your skin or how you body might react to that brand you’re using. What about that skin product you’re using is it really helping your skin or hurting it and how is your body reacting to it.

With all the new lotions, creams, soaps and ingredients being launched seemingly every day, it's easy to get confused by all the different options. The important thing is to find a product that works for you and does what is suppose to without harming your skin or you body. By now you noticed that I talk about harm to your body some products when they are absorbed thru the skin can also cause damage to your body plus your body can have allergic reactions to certain products depending.

The tough thing is unless you're willing to spend hours and money on your skin care routine every day by incorporating all of these different lotions, creams, and soaps, you'll need to pick and choose which basics are right for you.

So start off with skincare basics is to identify fully what skin condition you’re trying to treat and doing you have any allergies that you must watch. I bring up allergies a lot because that was one the biggest issues that I had with some products. I found that had allergic reactions to certain types of soaps and it would be a matter of minutes after getting out the shower or while washing I would start getting a runny noise and irritated eyes and I then would come the non stop sneezing.

Some of the skincare basics everyday products that you should be buying on a regular base are listed below. I am not going to list soap or shampoo here since those are everyday products but these are extra products that you should have and use.

• Sunscreen: It is essential to use some type of Sunscreen or block to protect your skin from harmful effects of exposure to the sun. More information about Suntan and Sunscreens will be made available our Suntan section. • Body lotions a good lotion with alpha-hydroxy acid will smooth your whole body, including your hands, feet, arms and legs. More information on this subject in our Skin lotion section. • Eye cream which is applied under your eyes which is the more delicate and dry area of your skin then other areas. There will be more information about this section under our Skin Eye cream section. • Retinols cream which will help issue with wrinkles and pigmentation spots that comes along with aging and skin stress.

These are just some of the basic items that you would to use on a regular base to help protect and keep your skin health and looking good. Once again this is only part of keeping healthy skin you also have to eat well balanced nutritional healthy foods as well which are also covered by the Skin care advisor.
